Welcome to the terrible take and many podcasts telling Steelers Nation what's on our mind. I'm

Josh Carney. Chuck Knoll once said that if you're considering retirement, then you've already

retired. Maybe that's where the 41-year-old quarterback Aaron Rogers finds himself. More than two

weeks since the start of the newly year, Rogers still hasn't made a decision on if he's going to

sign with the Steelers or retire. Of course, the Minnesota Vikings still lurk as a possibility,

but the Steelers find themselves in a terrible spot, waiting for Rogers to make up his mind.

They did this to themselves, though. And if Rogers truly is considering retirement as ESPN's

Adam Schefter reported Wednesday night, he should move on with his life's work. The Steelers

at some point have to give him a deadline. This has gone on far too long. And it's becoming

increasingly annoying. They've gone through the whole song and dance with him, hosting him for a visit on the south side,

watching film with him, spending six hours getting to know him, and more.

It's high time he makes a decision.

It's also high time the Steelers give him an ultimatum, too.

Yes, they are in a bad spot at quarterback, but they can't keep giving

Rogers his sweet time to make a choice. As Cam Hayward said last week, you either want to be a
