have the third worst draft value in the 2025 NFL draft, but they should be in the top 10 next year as long as they

don't go on a deep playoff run, which probably isn't expected. Even with one, their value should be

solid as they are projected to get three compensatory draft picks at the moment. The comp pick

system is designed to reward teams who lose players in free agency.

If a player is cut, they don't count on either side of the formula. For example, the Steelers cut

Preston Smith, so it won't matter whether or not he signs or whether or not that contract is
