i'm Josh Carney much of the attention for the Pittsburgh Steelers

this offseason centers on the quarterback position and the defensive line, and rightfully so.

But one area the Steelers have a major, glaring need at revolves around the wide receiver

position. Again. Last offseason, GM Omar Khan did everything, but get a deal done to land a big-name receiver via trade.

Now, this off-season, the Steelers find themselves back in a similar situation, though this time, they have more options via free agency.

Names like Stefan Diggs, Amari Cooper, D'Andre Hopkins, Chris Godwin, Keenan Allen, and Darius Slayton will all be popular on the open market.

And, Devante Adams, should soon join that group, depending on what the Jets decide to do.

Debo Samuel and Cooper Cup remain intriguing trade options, too, so the Steelers very clearly have quite a few options to pursue this offseason at a position of need.

Adding a veteran wide receiver via trade or free agency and then turning around and drafting a wide receiver early in the 2025 NFL draft in Green Bay

would go a long way towards fixing a major hole for the Steelers on the

offensive side of the football. Though QB is the most important position in all of sports,

and the Steelers have a significant need there. Wide receiver was a serious problem last season,

and it needs to dress this year in a big way. Fortunately, the Steelers have plenty of options.

Hopefully, Kahn is aggressive and plugs a hole that has plagued him.
