Owner Art Rooney the 2nd made the media rounds this week and there is a lot to cover.

Check out Wednesday's terrible podcast where Dave and I go over everything he's had to say.

But perhaps the most striking thing, Rooney, who felt more transparent than normal, even if his message hit familiar notes, were frustrated, we got to score more, run the ball, stop the run.

But the thing that stuck out to me was this comment about the team missing on Kenny Pickett.

And this is really the first long-form interview he's given since Pickett was traded last March.

Rooney said he wasn't sure there was a lot to be learned from how poorly the pick turned out.

And that is just a bizarre comment.

to Ben's throne.

Really? Nothing? This is not just

about missing on picket. Everyone knows the story there. Missed evaluation, bad development. But the

Steelers are going to draft another first-round quarterback again, potentially within the next two years.
