What a Christmas gift it is for the Pittsburgh

Steelers to be getting healthy at just the right time to take on, well, the Kansas City Chiefs.

It appears that not only is wide receiver George Pickens set to make his return after a three-game

absence, but so too are the likes of safety to Sean Elliott,

cornerback Dante Jackson, and defensive lineman Larry Ogun Joby. Pickens is a huge boost to the

Steelers' offense, and the headliner from a returning standpoint for the black and gold. But in my view,

the return of Elliott at safety is the most important one for the Steelers on Wednesday.

Prior to Elliot missing time with a hamstring injury, he was playing like one of the best

safeties in the NFL. He was a sure tackler, one that was able to play in the box and affect

games in a big way.

Elliot was an underrated communicator and stabilizer for the defense, too.

Without him, the Steelers defense has been, well, a bit of a mess the last two weeks.
