Welcome to the terrible take in many podcast telling Steelers Nation what's on our mind.

I'm Josh Carney.

It took a bit longer than many Steelers fans and media members would have liked, but the

addition of linebacker Patrick Queen to the defense of the Pittsburgh Steelers is starting to pay

dividends and just at the right time too.

Queen, who signed a lucrative three-year, $41 million deal on free agency with the Steelers this off-season,

had some real struggles out of the gate with the black and gold.

Adjusting to a new scheme and verbiage is tough.

It's even harder when you're the one wearing the green dot and communicating to everyone, too.

There were plenty of concerns regarding Queen, especially early in the season, but in recent

weeks, he's started to find his game. Coming out of the by week in week 10 against the Washington

commanders, Queen played his best fall in a Steelers uniform, leading the Steelers with seven tackles, two

tackles for a loss, and a pass breakup. He showed off his range, played physical and with an edge,

and really looked like he did last season in Baltimore in the midst of an all-pro season.

His performance was very encouraging and comes at a great time as now Queen and the Steelers get set to play in a pivotal AFC North matchup.

Against, that's right, the Baltimore Ravens, a game that should have extra meaning for Queen on Sunday.

Kudos to the veteran for finding his game, stacking days and getting better and better each and every week.

His improvement comes at a great time, too, as the schedule gets very difficult for the Steelers.

If Queen is who we all expected, moving forward, look out for the Steelers defense.
