As the NFL trade deadline approaches in just a couple of days,

the news cycle continues to turn out stories on the Steelers making attempts to land any number of wide receivers. What we haven't heard is any mention of the team looking to add players at any other

position group. Despite the normal challenges that injuries have presented eight weeks into the season,

the team's depth is fairly good.

With that said, it wouldn't have been completely shocking to hear that Pittsburgh was in the market for a tackle.

Rookie Troy Fautano won the starting right tackle job and promptly landed on injured reserve.

The soon as he might return was reported to be the playoffs if the team confirms of birth.

Dan Moore Jr. has held on to his place at starting left tackle. Entering his second year,

Broderick Jones never came close to challenging Moore as the starter. Jones was then passed on the

depth chart by Fautano at right tackle, only to take over again due to his teammates' injury.

Over his last six games since

becoming the starting right tackle again, Jones has had a rough time. He has been playing

through an elbow injury since training camp, which may be a contributing factor. But that
