I'm Alex Kizora.

Based on what we know right now, it's likely Dan Moore Jr. and Broderick Jones

will begin the year as the Pittsburgh Steelers starting

offensive tackles.

Which is the right call, even though rookie Troy Fau Tano is healthy, he's missed too much time

to start the season opener.

But it begs the question, when does Paul Tanya become a starter or

does he become a starter?

Pittsburgh will not make a change for the sake of change. An injury to Moore Jones would obviously be an easy answer to the question.

If more goes down, Jones flips the left tackle and follow Tano steps in at right. If Jones goes down it's a easy one-to-one replacement.

But what if they're both healthy? Would someone truly get benched for poor play? That's not happened in Pittsburgh in quite some time.

Remember Brodrick Jones started for a briefly injured Dan Moore last season,

went back to the bench when Moore recovered,

and was slated to stay there and glue to the bench until Chokuma Corps for got put in Mike Tomlin's

dog house mid-season. If Morin Jones play well and the Steelers are winning, there might not be much of a path

for Fau Tanoo. Maybe he sees some tackle eligible

work but he could be frozen out of significant action. And if they bench someone, is it the

steady more they like and trust, or is it Jones still sending a first rounder

back to the bench, one of many storylines to watch throughout the Pittsburgh Steelers
