Finally, after many months of speculation, debates, and general anticipation, the 2024 season is finally here for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In just a few days the black and gold will kick it off for the 2024 season against the

Atlanta Falcons in Atlanta. So ahead of the start of the

season I wanted to get on record my prediction for the 20th season for the

black and gold. While many are concerned about the quarterback situation, wide

receiver depth and the offensive line, I see a team with an improved coaching

staff and an elite level defense that can help them win games during the regular season.

Yes, the schedule is tough in the second half and yes the Steelers typically get off the slow starts.

But this season feels different. It just does. I see a team that has

urgency. It is determined to prove a point. And players that are entering the season with major chips on their

shoulders for one reason or another. That is a dangerous combination.

After a remarkable off-season featuring some big additions. This team feels solid on paper. So solid, in fact, that I see a 10-win team, one that leans on its defense to create short fields due to turnovers and an offense that should be

nothing short of competent now that Arthur Smith is calling the shots and the Steelers

are better at the quarterback situation than the last two seasons. That all adds up to a team that should be solid in the regular season and gets into the playoffs.

After that, who really knows?

But I am fully expecting a 10-win season and for this team to be better than many are giving them credit for.

At least right now, it's very hard to bet against Mike Tomlin too.

So there you have it.

I have the Steelers going 10 and 7, a wild card team,

and in the playoffs once again.
