Welcome to the terrible take a daily segment telling Steelers nation what's on our mind. I'm Alex Kazora.

Training Camp is here. My final take before practice officially kicks off Thursday morning.

I just wanted to take a step back before things get crazy and hectic until January,

hopefully well into the month and maybe even February.

I want to thank you all for staying with us in Steelers Depot throughout the off-season,

which in itself was wild at time, signing Russell Wilson, dealing away Kenny Pickett, trading

for Justin Fields 24 hours in that all took place in about a week.

A solid and fun NFL draft and on paper a good second haul from GM Omar Khan.

Now the page turns to actual football and I can't wait. Wilson and Fields in the same room

who would have thought to watch the rookies. I like Troy Farr Tano and Payton

Wilson who could have awesome camps I'm expecting it

whoever emerges as this year's Camp Darling which is always unpredictable and

everything else that occurs along the way I know it won't always be that rosy and we won't

paint such a picture. We'll tell you what happens at camp good bad and ugly.

As things stand now though, early as it is, the Steelers roster is better and more stable compared to one year ago, a group

that is capable of winning a playoff game finally breaking a too long drought.

That is a realistic goal, though the AFC north in their schedule is daunting.

Still overall I can't wait to take it all in with you guys. Get ready. Camp is here
