I make this take now to save the jinx responses I'd inevitably get if I said this during the season.

What makes Naji Harris and Jayland Warren a reliable duo is not just Harris's power or

Warren's burst, It's their availability. Since Harris entered the league in

2021 and Warren in 2022, they've been among the most durable backs in football. Of the 85 games over those past three years, they've

only missed one of them that was Warren missing one in his rookie year. Harris, he's played in all

17 games three years running.

The only other running back who can say the same

is a mere Abdullah, a backup who has just a fraction

of Harris's carries. For the running back position that is rare, that is a unicorn.

Those guys have played Hurt Harris Battle of the Toh Injury the first half of 2022,

but they've been out there virtually every step of the way.

There's value and comfort in that.

We can't preach the cliche of best ability is availability without acknowledging and praising this critical component of their games.

It means that, yeah, they've gotten a little bit lucky,

but also that they've taken care of their bodies

and have done the little things to stay healthy.

That's huge for a couple of young guys who have been part of young offenses to take that

upon themselves and model that for others. So do not take their health for granted. We've just

come to expect them being out there each week and hopefully that stays true in

2024. But understand that is not how it works for the other 31 teams around the league.
