The news of the eight-game suspension for cornerback Cameron Sutton wasn't surprising whatsoever.

In fact, it was expected to be between six and ten games

based on the personal conduct policy in the CBA in the NFL. That doesn't make the

news any less frustrating though, as what was once a strength of the Steelers defense at the slot

cornerback position following the signing of Sutton is, well, back to being a glaring hole once again.

Fortunately, the Steelers have some intriguing bodies to throw at the hole in an effort to try and fill it this time.

Greatland Arnold and Josiah Scott have NFL experience in the slot and should battle for the starting role with Sutton on the shelf due to the suspension.

Though they aren't big names, there is some comfort there knowing that they have two guys with plenty of NFL experience

to step into that void a bit. There is one guy though that has a great opportunity

in front of him, one that he hopefully ceases upon again, that being rookie undrafted for agent Beeney Bishop out of West Virginia.
