While I do think he's going to be an asset for the Steelers on the field as a slot

cornerback and somebody you can also play outside if needed, I don't love the team bringing

in cornerback Cameron Sutton, particularly with the comments he made after his first OTA practice on Wednesday when addressing the media.

I respect to the Steelers are familiar with Sutton and I hope that bringing him back to a familiar environment in Pittsburgh with Mike Tomlin will work out.

Sutton, who is subject to NFL discipline for a domestic violence incident in Florida that happened

in March.

I didn't properly handle the situation in my opinion when addressing

with the media.

Saunan did a pre-trial diversion program in April with this charge being reduced to

a misdemeanor.

Uh, but entering the program does make him subject to suspension likely six plus games by the NFL.

When addressing the media he said he couldn't talk about the case, just all well and good, he still going through the legal process, can't talk about it.

But he did talk about a situation and you know,

he used words like adversity and he said he's not worried about a narrative.

I mean, that's fine.

Something doesn't have to pay attention to people around him and what they say and what people are saying about him or about the situation, but calling his situation, you know, adversity and it almost sound like he was down playing what happened a little bit and talking

on putting his best foot forward and it just doesn't really sit right with me.
