Welcome to the terrible take a daily segment telling Steelers nation what's on our mind.

As of this recording Wednesday afternoon, the Steelers have one open roster spot remaining

thanks to their international exemption for German-born

undrafted for agent Julius Wellshof. How will the team use it? It could be from a nuts and bolts

camp roster standpoint having enough people to function and

navigate throughout the summer. For example, teams usually carry 15 offense alignment in

camp to give them three sets of five for practice and Pittsburgh is right on the button with 15 of them,

meaning they should not have to add there.

So where could they add?

Maybe punter.

As of now, there's only Cameron Johnston on the roster and the team normally carries to each camp.

That avoids worrying out someone's leg before the season begins during practices in which they

rep live punt returns. They wouldn't sign a big quote-unquote name punter of course, but it would round out the room.

Now Pittsburgh could often add for talent and need. Wide receiver feels like it will be addressed again before week one, but any free agent probably would not move the needle enough as things currently stand today.
