The pick is in, and with the 20th selection of the 2024 NFL draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select.

Troy Fautano, Office of Tackle from Washington.

Emphasis on Tackle.

The Steelers confirming that's where he'll begin his career after Pre-Jat Buzz wondering if he would kick

inside to guard or center.

While there's a separate discussion to be had over if Va-U-Tannu should play left or right side, the value and talent comes first, and he certainly has it.

Once again for Omar Khan, the board broke exceedingly well for the Steelers, despite being

an offensive-heavy draft, a record six

quarterbacks went in the top 12 picks pushing down O-line talent. Some names

there came off the board, but there was not this massive tackle run some predicted there would be, and Pittsburgh was left with plenty of options up front and at other positions.

But Fautunu viewed as a top 15, was there, and he was their guy.

Pittsburgh is not hiding how they want to build out the roster, inside out.

The Steelers are making heavy investments up front in the last two drafts, selecting an offense alignment in the first round

and back-to-back drafts for the first time ever.
