Finally, after many months of speculation, we have reached the first round of the 2024 NFL draft.

In just a few short hours, we'll know who the newest member of the Pittsburgh Steelers is.

Creating a whole new talking point regarding that specific player, their fit, and expectations in year one.

That is going to be quite fun.

But who will that player be you ask?

Well, I'm glad you asked.

As we sit here today on Thursday afternoon, the best guest comes down to two players

based on everything we know in the pre-draft process to date with the Steelers.

Those two players, Georgia offensive tackle Marius Mims and Duke Center, Graham Barton.

Of the draft prospects that the Steelers have been connected to in this pre-draft process,

Mims is the guy that checks legitimately every single box.

Combined formal meeting, pro-day attendance, pre-draft visit. It's all right there in front of us.

The Steelers don't try and hide their intentions regardless of what head coach Mike Tomlin had the same Monday about smokescreens.

They simply don't do it. Where there is smoke with

Mims, there's bound to be fire. He might have just eight career starts at

Georgia, but those eight starts had some really good tape.

Him with Brodrick Jones at Left Tackle forming the bookends for Pittsburgh for the foreseeable

future would be quite fun.

Then there's the Fast Rising Barton who has generated quite a bit of
