Could the Steelers double dip in the draft take two of one position we get asked that a lot and the answer is as an exciting a response it might be is maybe. They could. But I don't think teams generally go into the draft saying we're taking two of this position. It's a draft, not an arc.

Unless there is an extreme need at one spot or a team just has a bunch of picks,

those double dips come naturally based off a strength of a class and value on the board.

See when you get into day three needs should not be addressed if you are your team is in trouble counting on fourth and fifth round picks to plug gaps and help right away.

On day three you're searching for value, for talent.

Usually it's one of two paths, high upside or high floor guys, someone who if you hit you hit big, or the special

teamer, more known player who probably never starts but hangs around this whole rookie

contract.

That's the ideal anyway.

But really day three is about letting the board come to you,

finding value and seeing which of your guys are still on the board.

But double dipping could fall into place for Pittsburgh this year at

Corner or Receiver given the need and the depth. It may be a variation saying outside

corner and slot corner, but that feels on the table for the Steelers this draft class.
