The Pittsburgh Sailors defense stepped up in a big way against the Cincinnati

Bengal is in their week 16 win.

It's a performance we're going off to see again against the Seattle Seahawks.

I love the way the Steelers broke pressure last week.

There's a lot of simulated pressure and they threw a lot of different looks of the

Bengal's offensive line. Seattle doesn't have a great quarterback play and I

think the Steelers can look to get to Geno Smith by throwing some

different blitches in his direction similar to how they got to Jake Browning and flustered him in the week 16 game.

T.J. want to now access with her obviously an elite duo off the edge and Cameron Harrod will

control the interior of their line.

But it was also nice to see Miles Jack at a sack, which is more than he had all of last season, and his first game of the year with the Steelers. The way guys like Jack and Safety Eric Gross stepped up on defense was huge huge and we'll get another look to see

how they were responding this week in an uncomfortable road environment.

The Pittsburgh Dolphins certainly deserve to get their flowers, particularly Mason

Rudolph as the performance he had last week was a long time coming for him.

George Pickens breaking out of a slump in a big way after a week where he was relentlessly criticized,

mostly for good reason, was also a positive sign.

But the defense helped the offense get the ball back by forcing turnovers and limiting

the Bengals run game and getting to the passer was really key to allow the

sailors defense to do what they needed to do.

It was an awesome performance and hopefully they can carry it over again against Seattle tomorrow.
