The Steelers are entering a make or break week with a Saturday game against the Indianapolis Colts.

This is the single biggest game remaining on the Steelers schedule in terms of

their playoff hopes. Both teams are 7 and 6 and have the same 5 and 4 conference record.

They also have similar record versus common opponents. Not only will this game put one team

a whole game up over the other in their overall records,

but it could play an important role in the tiebreakers at the end of the season with their head-to-head record.

Cincinnati Bengals game will be important as well, now that they are also seven and six but the

bangles also sit at zero and four in the AFC north.

The Steelers will edge them out in the divisional tiebreaker no matter what at this point

as they already have three wins in the AFC north?

The Steelers will enter this game with a 25% chance of making the playoffs per New York Times.

The number will drastically change depending on if the Steelers win or lose against the

Colts on Saturday.

With a win their chances at making the playoffs will shoot up to 46%.

With a loss, it will plummet all the way down to 8 or 9%.

A loss could very well mean the Steelers have very little to play for in the final three games.

No matter how bad it has been the last few seasons going back to even Duck Hodges and Mason Rudolph starting in place of an injured Ben Routhsberger or just last year when the Steelers started

two and six in Kenny Pickett's rookie season where they started Mitch Trebisky for the first four games.

The Steelers have found a way to stay in the thick of the playoff race right up until the end of the season.
