Sometimes a connection to a crime seems so blatant, but for one reason or another, the police don't seem to see it.

On March 8, 1990, a man took the life of a woman he knew and would go on to do that over and

over again while somehow remaining off of police radar.

morning cup of murder. Henry Lewis Wallace was born on November 4th, 1965 in Barnwell, South Carolina

to a strict disciplinarian who worked long hours as a textile worker and, when she was home,

would criticize every single thing about her young son. With a drive to succeed, Henry Wallace began high school, was elected to

the student council, and was a cheerleader until his graduation in 1983. After working as a disc jockey

at a local radio station, and hopping from college to college

for quite a bit, Henry enlisted with the U.S. Navy in 1985 and in that same year, married his

high school sweetheart, Moretta Brabham. Despite the fact that he would later be honorably discharged

in 1972,

Henry spent most of his military career experimenting with several different drugs, including crack cocaine,

and while in Washington, was served warrants for several burglaries that he took part in in the Seattle metro area.

In January of 1988, Henry was arrested for breaking into a hardware store and, that June, pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary and was let go with just two years of supervised probation.

He failed to show up at most of his probationary meetings, all of which were mandatory.

While all of this was going on, Henry and Moretta's marriage was taking a bit of a nosedive.
