he entered and wasn't really threatening in majors.

But he was decent in the PGA championship.

And today he caught fire.

So he started on the back nine out at Craig Ranch and he birdies 14 and 17,

hit parrars on everything else. But then he has a bogey run on one through six consecutive burdies.

And then he finished out with par on seven, par on eight, birdie nine to finish the day with a 62,

a nine under 62. And right now he's tied for third at 12 under.

The problem is, is Sung J.M. shot a 61 earlier today.

He is your co-leader at minus 13 along with Kinsei Harata.

So you've got Jordan Spieth entering the weekend on his home turf, potentially trying to win his home tournament.
