Tonight we get treated to, it's really weird the way this is working, and maybe it's just because it's New York and Cleveland in the east.

And yeah, you got the Jalen Brunson connection.

But the Spurs and the Thunder, both of them, San Antonio, oddly enough, is slightly further away than Oklahoma City is if you're just trying to drive to get to each city.

But they're both very drivable.

We see them all the time.

They're hardcore rivals of the Mavs.

But the care factor of this series seems to be sky high in comparison to Nixon Cavs.

I think it's because we feel like the winner of this series in the West is going to be the champion.

It's probably true as well, yes. They're the two best teams in the NBA and you feel like you are seeing the NBA series in the West is going to be the champion. It's probably true as well, yes. The two best teams in the NBA, and you feel like you are seeing the NBA finals in the Western Conference Finals. Maybe that's the case if you didn't have, if everyone thought that New York and Cleveland were the two best teams in the NBA, maybe the interest for that series would be a little more than what the Western Conference is. But, yeah, no, you're right.

It is all about, and I do wonder if that's the case with around the country.

Well, the ratings for game one, the highest rated West Finals game of all time.

Right, right, lets you know that when you have the two-time reigning MVP,

the reigning NBA champions, and a guy like Wimbunyama, who is ready to kind of set the NBA on fire, then this could potentially be one of those matchups that you see for years to come. We always say that. You never know exactly what's going to happen in years to come that another team could step up and be that team. But right now, we think that these teams are going to battle each other out for a long time. And when you have those rivalries like that, a lot of people are always in tune and checking that out. Because I do feel like if it's New York and Boston playing in the Eastern Conference finals, then you'll get some of the same attention that you're getting with Oklahoma City and San Antonio. I do believe. That's probably true. Cleveland probably brings that down a little bit since New York is the number one market and everyone always talks about the NBA being a lot better product when New York is good. And now you have a chance for them to get into the finals and be a champion for the first. Not be in the NBA finals, not a champion. They haven't been a champion since the early 70s. Yes, I haven't seen it in my lifetime. Yeah, since the late 90s. Yeah, 99, and that's that weird short and 50 games season. Yeah, but man, we were talking about this on the way here and they wanted to bring it on the air because I, for one, am always interested in dynasties. I love when teams dominate.

Like that Golden State dynasty that they had,

and even when they got to the finals,

when they lost to Cleveland and 16,

they lost to Toronto and 19.
