1:23.3 | So Suzanne was born Suzanne Renee Mormon on April 30, 1971, the day of her sister Melinda's 15th birthday. And Melinda said that she always thought of her baby sister as a birthday gift to her. |
1:37.2 | She also grew up with two brothers David and Andrew and they were a really close family growing up. Suzanne was adored by her friends and family. |
1:45.7 | People describe her as considerate and thoughtful, even at a very young age. When she got older, she took on after her mother. |
1:53.7 | She was a very sophisticated and intelligent woman. She had a really good voice and she sang in the choir when she was in high school and singing was something that brought her a lot of joy. |

2:19.0 | In 1988, Suzanne met the love of her life. His name was Barry. Barry Lee Morphew. He was from a wealthy Christian family and his faith was really important to him. |
2:31.1 | Suzanne's faith was important to her, so they were a perfect match. They fell in love almost instantly. They got married on August 6th, 1994 at Grace Baptist Church in Anderson, Indiana. |
2:43.6 | Suzanne had gotten her degree in education from Purdue University and she worked as a teacher for four years after she first got married. |
2:51.8 | Barry had hopes of becoming a professional baseball player. He was actually recruited out of high school by the Toronto Blue Jays. |
2:59.0 | But he got injured and that cut his professional baseball career short. |
