Summary

The Supreme Court has decided former president Donald Trump cannot be removed from the ballot in Colorado or in any other state. The case was brought by a group of Colorado voters who challenged Trump’s ballot eligibility based on his actions leading up to January 6th and on a clause in the 14th amendment barring former office holders from seeking a new office – if they’ve engaged in insurrection.
