Tonight the rematch for the White House with Nicki Haley out of the race the battle to win

over her supporters and donors begins and the focus on the economy it's a key issue

for voters and one that the Biden administration

is still delivering on. Then looking ahead to President Biden's state of the

Union address the White House sees this as a major moment, what we can expect as the 11th hour gets

underway on this Wednesday night. Good evening once again. I'm Stephanie Rule live from MS NBC

headquarters here in New York City and get ready for this. We are now

244 days until the election. Now that

Super Tuesday is history, President Joe Biden and Donald Trump are set almost

officially for a rematch after Nicki Haley dropped out of the race

earlier this morning. But even though the presumptive Republican nominee got rid of

his rivals in just two months, his primary victories reveal warning signs for November.

The Wall Street Journal notes Trump underperformed his polling in almost every state.

The New York Times points out that Trump's wins masked problems with suburban and

independence as well as Republicans who voted for Biden last time around.

Meanwhile, Mickey Haley's voters and her donors are now up for grabs.

It is now up to Donald Trump to earn the votes of those in our party and beyond it who

did not support him and I hope he does that. The battle now on for her

backers. President Biden urging Haley supporters to join him in opposing

Mr. Trump writing, I know there is a lot we won't agree on. I hope and believe we can find common ground.
