So back to the goal, the Bible itself shows

that our ultimate goal in reading the Bible is that God's infinite worth and beauty

would be exalted in everlasting white-hot worship of the blood-bought bride from every people tongue and tribe and nation.

Now if that's, if we made a case that that's the big ultimate goal of encountering

God in His Word, the implication is going to be,

well then this reading must be supernatural, but let me go backwards and sum it up.

I'll just sum up where we've been, and it'll be obvious then

why it must be supernatural, and then we'll talk about what in the world is that.

One, since the ultimate purpose... What in the world is that?

One, since the ultimate purpose of God

is to be enjoyed and exalted in white-hot worship

of a beautiful bride, a beautiful bride, a holy bride, then God's people must inwardly be

transformed from glory to glory. So I'm going backwards now. Going backwards from where to glory. So that I'm going backwards from where we went this morning
