Let's pray one more time.

Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord. And so Lord we love these songs because the

glorious truth in them and I pray that our hearts will be fixed on you, your death and resurrection

as our great boast. We have a great Savior.

And he was pleased to send the Holy Spirit to guide the Apostles into all truth.

And they wrote words not taught by human wisdom, but taught by the Holy Spirit,

interpreting spiritual things to spiritual people.

And oh, how thankful we are that you left a deposit in writing

so that we could know your death, your resurrection, and yourself.

Where would we be if we were adrift in this world trying to probe

into the mysteries of God without written revelation.

So thank you.

Help us to treasure it, help us not to make light of it,

have mercy upon those in the church who background it, sideline it, and put them spells forward

as analysts of things and culture, as though they were wiser or more creative or more cool than your holy word.

So God come.

Helps to be faithful now to this word as we try to discern how do we read this book supernaturally.

We know we must have your help.

Our sin and Satan and this world system are so powerful we would be gauners if we didn't have

supernatural help. So come help me now help us and teach us how to approach the word day by day this way.
