Summary

The Father is asking us that even when the external circumstances scream we're in survival mode, rewind your imagination and give Him something to aim above. Because He's doing exceedingly, abundantly, above all we could ever ask or think.

0:11.0	Go with me to Ephesians chapter 3. I want to teach a little bit tonight.
0:19.2	It may feel a little bit like a Bible study,
0:21.8	but that's okay. That's good. The principal question that I come into every Friday night with is,
0:30.8	Lord, what do you want in this evening? And that's where I spend most of my time. The second question I have is what will be
0:43.1	really equipping the people. Not not what's entertaining, not what do people prefer, not even what do people enjoy, but what leaves people transformed and equipped, listen to this,
0:56.1	to be agents of transformation within the culture. And oftentimes what you enjoy the most
1:02.1	is not what benefits you the most, i.e. cake versus treadmill. You know what I mean? What you enjoy
1:10.1	the most, what's the most appealing to you is oftentimes
1:13.8	not the best thing for you. Yet the church culture, especially in the West, is built around
1:20.4	appealing to what people want instead of really delivering to people what they need.
1:26.7	And I've been writing for Under the Oaks, as you can imagine, getting prepared for those
1:31.4	or some sessions where we'd go a little bit deeper, theologically.
1:35.9	We've got over 500 leaders registered for that, which is pretty interesting because
1:40.6	with the two Union University, first year year and second year now we have 57 students
1:46.1	which is the exact tithe of the number of leaders we have registered to come down to the oak so
1:51.0	570 leaders and we've got 57 now 57 new union university students mark help welcome them
1:59.2	the Friday after our reunion gathering we'll have a special time of welcoming all of them and blessing them as they embark on that, their journey that next Monday. And then we have 20 of the 22 from last year's class that remained living in Mobile. Two of them felt they were to go elsewhere, but they'll be back and forth a lot.
2:18.7	But out of that 22 that graduated the first year, 20 have remained here in the city. So that gives
2:24.9	us 57 that'll be in here every day, along with well over 100 in Legacy Academy, as we give the
2:31.5	next generation permission to become all the Father has designed for them to be.
2:36.2	But we will welcome all of these leaders.
