Welcome to Karen Hunter is awesome. I'm Karen Hunter, and as you know, I'm on a journey,

not just a 40-day year, but I'm actually, as I hit my 60th trip around the sun, really leaning into being the best version of myself and also stretching, stretching my imagination and stretching who I am as a person.

So the other day, I was walking, you know, I'm getting out now that the weather is changing.

I'm getting my steps in outside. And it was actually cold,

even though it's supposed to not be cold. It was like in the 30s. I could see my breath. But I was

like, I'm getting out. I'm going to walk. So it was about 6.30 in the morning. And as I'm coming

back around the park, the sun is coming up. And it is giant and orange, you know, so I do my whole rotation

around the park and then I'm coming back to the starting point and here comes the sun.

And she is beautiful and orange and giant. And in that moment, I realized she's not rising. She's not

rising at all. The earth has just spun a little bit.

And it was wild because when I got up and out,

there was no sun.

And then as I'm coming back, it's now about 7 a.m.

And there's the sun.

And I thought how many of us have always thought

that the sun rises in the east and it sets in the west?

I mean, we've heard that, right?

But have we processed that the sun is actually not rising and falling?

She's spinning.

She's spinning.

She is rotating on her own axis.

But she is not rising and falling.
