Hello, thanks for having me, guys.

So what do you got for us today?

Well, I recently interviewed the directors

of a documentary about the singer Karen Dalton. Do you guys know who she is?

I did not know the name even until I started reading about this doc.

She's fairly obscure but the people who know are like people like Nick Cave and Dylan, they loved her.

That second record in my own time, I've actually been listening to that last few weeks.

Yeah, because I knew this movie was about to come out.

It's great. Really great stuff holds up very well. was just fine.

So you turned your days into night time.

Didn't you know you can't make it without ever even time?

Yeah, it's very strange and haunting and she had this way of being right on the cusp of like right on the edge of the picture like with Dylan and Greenwich Village and she almost was in the mamas and the papas.

A selling like figure.

Yeah, but just never quite got through and never, you know, she only made two albums.

But this documentary was interesting because so I got this press release I'd never heard of her and they have a picture of her with Dylan and Greenwich Village and she looks like a spitting image of Angel Olson like the short bangs and

singing and then I read that Angel Olson read her diaries for the movie.

She does the voice of Karen Dalton.

So I was like, I gotta watch this

and see what's going on here.

So it turns out it's a very sad story.
