It's 8 a.m. here in New York City, a sacred hour on this sacred day. 46 minutes from now, the country will observe a moment of silence to mark the moment when a plane struck the North Tower at the World Trade Center, 21 years ago today, the first of a

People are gathering at the World Trade Center Memorial in Lower Manhattan right now,

many of whom lost a loved one on this day in 2001.

President Biden is currently on his way to the Pentagon where he will take part in a rethlaying ceremony and deliver remarks in honor of the victims of 9-11.
