0:40.0	Sean McDowell. This is ThinkBiblically. So Sean, tell us a little bit what these two studies
0:45.2	are actually about, the state of the Bible in the one hand, state of theology on the other.
0:50.1	So the American Bible Society did a pretty comprehensive study of what Americans believe about
0:55.3	the Bible, how they're engaging the Bible, and how it affects the way they live and the way they
1:01.7	don't live for 2022.
1:04.3	And then Ligonier Ministries, in partnership with Lifeway,
1:07.2	did a study on the state of theology in 2022.
1:11.2	So this is more of what Americans contrasting with self-proclaimed
1:15.5	evangelicals believe about the person of Jesus, salvation, the Bible,
1:21.4	etc. So you put them together. we have a pretty good sense of what Americans believe about the scriptures and how that shapes their theology and their life.
