0:39.3	Situated at that heart of New Zealand's South Island, Lake Tecapo is one of the most
0:46.5	breathtaking areas of natural beauty on the entire planet.
0:51.2	With clear and vibrant blue waters, the vast lake is itself a glistening pool of paradise.
1:04.0	But better yet, the lake is surrounded by fiercely varied landscapes.
1:10.1	Snow-top mountains, green forested hills, expansive farmland, and the occasional village of
1:18.8	small town. Located on the south-eastern corner of the lake is the town of Tecapo.
1:31.5	It offers locals and visitors some incredibly scenic views across the border.
1:39.6	On land, there are a number of fantastic attractions also. These include a Quentin
1:46.6	petite Catholic church, which attracts a plethora of tourists but maintains a sense of peace and
1:54.8	calm within. As you sit inside this peaceful church, a crucifix stands tall with a serene backdrop
2:08.0	of the lake and mountains. Nearby, you can stroll across an impressive modern footbridge
2:19.9	that stretches over the dam, offering some excellent photo opportunities.
2:28.1	And then, perhaps most famous of all, Tecapo is inundated with elegant scatterings of wild
2:36.1	looping flowers, providing some bright and joyful colour for photographers and painters
