Everything that exists somewhere in the world also exists in us. Let's apply this idea to our own lives and try and exercise that I call embracing duality or let's say the

experience of duality.

You will need a pencil and a piece of paper.

So sit down quietly now and think of a person you find very attractive.

On the left side of the paper lists 10 or more desirable qualities that this person possesses.

Write them down. Don't allow your conscious mind to edit your thoughts.

Be completely honest. Why do you like this person? Is the

person kind loving, flexible, drives a nice car, has a nice house,

whatever reason comes to you, write it down.

Now think of a person who you find relatively

unattractive or repulsive even evokes a negative energy.

So on the right side of the paper, list 10 or more undesirable qualities.

When you have completed both lists, think again about the person you find attractive

and list three unattractive traits in that person.

And vice versa, for the unattractive person list three traits.

You should have at least 26 qualities listed.

Circle every quality that you own yourself.

For example, it could be compassionate or loving or impatient.

For the words not circled, put a check mark next to the ones that definitely do not apply to you.

And now go back to your circled words and identify the top three that describe you. Write down those three words
