Hey everybody, this is Rob Leifeld. You are here listening to another episode of Robeservations.

As the host of Robeservations, I can tell you that this journey has been going on now almost two years.

And I am, at the most most basic I am just walking through

all of the comic book memories I've had since I was a kid grabbing comic books off the

spinner rack when I was a wee lad six seven years old and just the strong impression

obviously comics made a very strong impression on me it has a fueled fueled a lifelong career. I mean, 35 years in the

business now and that feels like a lifetime. And prior to that, like 18 years getting ready

to have that career. So, you know, I've just been, I've kind of almost just know nothing but comic books and comic book related stuff.

And just to give you an idea, not only was I buying comic books off the rack in 1975, I would have the super friends on Saturday mornings. so so Superman Batman Aquaman uh Wonder Woman uh the

whole gang uh let's see Superman Batman Batman Robin Wonder Woman Akko and yeah that was kind of like

the lineup but they eventually had the Wonder Twins there was um, I did an entire episode on international superheroes mainly introduced through the Superfriends.

Wendy was one of the first, there was a pair of normal kind of non-powered kids that were the audience surrogates for the first season of Super Friends,

but they were quickly replaced by Zan and Jaina, who were aliens who had powers that worked

in kind of unison with each other. They activated them. Wonder Twin Powers. Activate,

if you've ever heard of that, that came from the Super Friends cartoon. On Monday through Friday,

there was 60s cartoons from the 60 Friends cartoon. On Monday through Friday, there was 60s, um,

cartoons from the 60s of Superman and Batman that would play that I never missed. There was

obviously the 1960, is it 68, Spider-Man, the Spider-Man, Spider-Man does whatever Spider-Can,

very popular cartoon that ran on the UHF channel that I've spoken of on the show

often it's where I first also encountered so much of the anime that affected me on the live

action um uh kind of Japanese shows Johnny Soco and the in the giant robot uh Ultraman

those were two live action shows Ultraman was like my jam. I loved Ultraman. All of this I was
