which we'll get into in a little in a little while here we're going to we're going to source all of

this stuff it's so fun i this is the kind of stuff I live for.

Maybe you like me at one point in time, subscribe to all the entertainment magazines, not blogs, not online,

not when it was free and you had to deal with pop-up ads. There was a magazine called Premier Magazine.

It was my favorite magazine.

I lived for Premier Magazine's summer predictions in the May issue that always came out.

Premier Magazine was like a more of a intellectual, you know, look at, they balanced kind of a more professorial approach, you know, scholarly

approach to filmmaking along with the pop of it. You'll get Tom Cruise on the cover of Empire

of Premier Magazine. Empire Magazine is another great one, by the way, but you'd get Tom Cruise on the

cover and you get a great interview, a Rolling Stone type interview, something that was longer,

that was deeper. But you'd also talk to the director, the cinematographer, the screenwriter,

Premier Magazine really celebrated the, you know, sausage making of movies. I hate that term, but you guys would know what I, they use it in politics all the time.

But behind the scenes, you know, getting all of the ingredients, many more of the ingredients

than you would normally hear from, all got their say in Premier Magazine.

Entertainment Weekly started up kind of as Premier Magazine's influence was waning.

Premier Magazine would ultimately be put out to rest in the middle of the 90s. It was very sad.

It was my, man, it was just a great, great magazine. So many great reviews, interviews,

interviews, analysis. And then Entertainment Weekly was more of like the pop version of that and and they they balanced it as well
