And being involved in Minecraft media and steeped in media, we spent the render distance talking

about how we consume media, the streaming services we're using, the fact that we lament the lack

of physical discs sometimes when we want to watch our favorite films and they're on a streaming

service that we no longer subscribe to. If you want to hear more about that, then check out the

We just had one on September 27th before covering Minecraft live, and that is where we talk with our patrons about what they've been doing in Minecraft. Very similar to the login here on the show, but with you folks instead of with just Johnny and I talking about what we've been doing. The quarterly hangout is coming up in October. That's where we review the downloads, the numbers, the subscriptions, all that kind of stuff, as well as feature plans for the show. And speaking of plans for the show, something we talked about in the last quarterly, or at least a special Patreon hangout that we did, the Patreon feed is now syncing with Spotify.

So if you are a Patreon member and you are using Spotify to listen to the show on a regular

basis, you can now sign in to Patreon via Spotify and you can get access to the render distance, the hangouts, all those

things, rate in Spotify. So if you prefer Spotify as a platform, you now have access to that.

It's worth noting that it's a separate RSS feed. So if you're looking to listen to everything,

including the main version of the show, which is public, then you have to look for the

sponge chunks as a separate RSS feed and again, sign in with your Patreon account. If you have any issues, drop me a line in the Discord, and I will hopefully send you to the right help article. Or there's also another few other people that have done it already, and then you might be able to find some help there. But either way, we are syncing on Spotify. Minecraft Live September 2025 happened over the weekend, brought us a look at what's coming in the final drop for 2025. So that's definitely going to be the focus of this week's in news and discussion. But before all that, we've got to stay in the present and talk about what we've been up to in our Minecraft lives.
