wherever you're listening to this. My name is Johnny, but the internet knows me as Pixariffs,

0:24.3

and joining me, as always, is on cassette or perhaps on a more modern medium, Joel Duggan.

0:29.6

Hi, Joel. Hello, and if you'd like to hear a little bit about retro media,

0:34.7

our experiences with music and what we listened to music on growing up, then you can

0:39.1

check out the render distance. It's the extended version of the podcast. It's available at patreon.com

0:43.7

slash the sponge chunks to all of the people that support us there. You get extra stuff

0:47.9

along with the extra footage and audio each week because we now release the render distance

0:53.8

on video format to our patrons

0:55.4

exclusively. But you can also take part in things like the monthly Minecraft hangout that's coming

0:59.9

up this Saturday where we talk with our patrons about what they've been doing in Minecraft

1:03.3

over the last month. You get quarterly hangouts where we talk about download numbers. A new one of those

1:08.1

should be coming out soon because we're entering into the final quarter of the year. So we'll be recapping the third quarter. And of course, coming up this week, we also have Minecraft Live, where we'll be broadcasting that on Saturday and covering that. So all of that kind of stuff is very easy to track through Patreon.com slash the Spontrunks. If you are a free member, then you also get emails when new episodes come out, all that kind of stuff. So it's worth taking a look. Check it out, patreon.com slash the Spontchunks. This week with Minecraft live on the way, we thought it would be fun to make a few predictions. So that's what our main discussion is going to be about. And I imagine there's a lot of people hanging on every word from Minecraft at this point.

1:45.1

But in the meantime, of course, we'd like to do our quick login and chat about what we've been

1:48.5

up to in our Minecraft lives. Now, when I saw you streaming over the weekend, Joel, I saw

1:52.7

that you were exploring a massive lush cave. I have to know more. Tell me everything.

1:57.8

It's huge. Like, we measured it on stream because I, as technical as I am, I wanted to figure out like where the center of it was. And it is over 150 blocks wide in both directions. It's sort of shaped like an L. So it's not exactly one giant chasm. There's kind of some different areas and nooks and crannies to it.

2:20.2

But I kind of roughed out like where the main chamber started and where the main chamber ended

2:25.0

in both directions.

2:26.6

And it was roughly 130 to 150 blocks.

2:29.4

I found the exact center and then kind of thought I might ballpark this and move it over just so like

2:35.2

aesthetically it feels a little bit more like the middle. And so we've got that mapped out. And
