Father in heaven, I asked that you would make the minds and the hearts of those who are here now.

Supple and soft and tender to the word of God

so that it pierces down deep into the soul,

lodges itself there, and becomes a lifelong agent of power for the glory of Christ and for their joy. I ask this in Jesus

name. Amen.

So we know that all things work together for good, for those who love God and are called according to his purpose.

For those whom he foreknew, he predestined to be conformed to the image of his son,

that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

And those whom he predestined, he also called, and those whom he called, and those whom be called, he also justified and those who be justified, he also glorified.

So what will we say to this?

If God is for us, who can be against us?

You did not spear his own son, but gave Him up for us all, will He not with Him?

Freely, give us all things.

Who shall bring any charge against God's elect?

It is God who justifies.

Who is to condemn?

It is Christ Jesus who died.

Who was raised from the dead? who is at the right hand of God interceding for us.

Who should separate us from the love of Christ?

Shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or naked or peril or sword?
