Let's pray.

Father, we're here to talk about living by faith in future grace and so I ask for that now for me that I would trust

you for three hours worth of future grace, and that it would come with power, with wisdom, with

humility, with courage,

that it would strip away all fear of man

and all self-exaltation and it would abound with memory of the precious things in the

word of God and in the history of the world with the cross at its center.

And for those who are here in this room

and for those who are watching,

I pray also for future grace, for some, for the next five minutes,

before they turn it off, and for others the whole time. Lord, there will be no understanding, there will be no grasping,

there'll be no embracing or cherishing or treasuring if your grace does not come.

And so we ask for it because you said,

ask and you receive, seek and you'll find, knock and the door will be opened.

So we're asking and seeking and knocking. We're not

blundering ahead with any sense of self-sufficiency or self-reliance in this moment. We are casting ourselves now upon you for your

sustaining of the technology, which is the least important, and your sustaining of our faith, which is the most important

in our lives.

So I pray now that you'd come and do all of that for the glory of Jesus in his name. I pray, Amen.
