Sociopath. Today's book is The Sociopath Next Door by Martha Stout, who has a wonderfully Hobbit name.

I'm Kellan Erskine. I'm a comic, a father, and I live in a townhome with a townhome on either side of me, and I'm trying to

figure out which one of them is a sociopath, because one of them, one of my neighbors I've only

seen twice in five years, and the one on the other side, has 1,000 outdoor decorations for

every holiday. Like they're saying, hey, I'm not hiding anything.

I love holidays like every other person who has feelings.

I have a little prank idea.

Pick someone in your life who's a little mean or self-promoting.

Now go up to a mutual friend and in a scared voice say,

I think this person's a sociopath. And that friend will wonder about it the rest of their life.

It's like being called a communist. Once you're accused, you can never fully disprove it.

The sociopath next door is an exploration of sociopathie by a therapist who taught at Harvard.

A school so advanced, Bill Gates couldn't even graduate.
