John, there's a proposal to eliminate the Social Security earnings limit. Yeah, so I hear. Now, this is specifically, by the way, let's preface this, this is the earnings limit for retirement benefits. Social Security, retirement. Yeah, Social Security, retirement benefits, not disability. Right. So I don't want somebody that's on disability benefits to get excited and run out and start working.

And I've had people ask me other questions about, well, how does this affect my first supplement that's also kind of tied to the earnings limit, so on and so forth?

This is just for Social Security benefits, although the legislation also says for railroad retirement benefits as well.

I know that's a small segment of folks out there.

But yes, Social Security retirement benefits.

So the way this works today is if you retire before for retirement age.

So sometime before 66.5, 67. depending on that range. Yeah, right.

Yeah. So for everyone born in 1967 or later, 1960 or later, sorry, the full retirement age is 67. Right.

So effectively, for most of our people listening, if you were born in 1960 or later, you're 67, and that's your full retirement age.

So if you file before 67, you're going to have the earnings limit applied.

And all the earnings limit is, it says, hey, you can only have a certain amount of earnings, either wages or net earnings from self-employment, before we'll
