The Smurl family thought they had found their dream home in West Pittston, Pennsylvania, but their lives quickly turned into a nightmare. They were haunted by dark shadows, foul smells, violent attacks, and even demonic manifestations. Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called to help, but the controversy surrounding this case led many to question its validity.
