But now, let's get into our next paranormal encounter.

My experience happened in 2006.

I was 18 and I had just started college. It was the first time I had lived away from home properly. I was excited, nervous and part of you is definitely desperate to prove that you can handle something yourself.

I managed to secure a room in an apartment that was pretty small and unremarkable.

It was a two-bedroom apartment, had one bathroom, and I remember they had a very small kitchen.

It was a galley kitchen basically.

And there was a sitting room that barely fit a couch and a coffee table.

It was on the second floor of a pretty tired looking building, and it always smelled faintly of damp and cleaning fluid the

source of which I never found out where it was coming from. This was not an apartment that
