I'm your host Paul Spore and I'm flying solo today.

It's been quite a while since a solo cast and I'm excited for this one because I wanted to look

at some gems from the steamer projections. They've been out for a little while but

kind of marinating on it putting together this list over the last week or 10 days

about longer than that I'm just saying I kind of had this idea and

I've been marinating on some guys to highlight and I think I found an

interesting group you know it's always fun to see where projections land on players and you know who the real

surprises are I think pardon me I think the last couple of, Vlad Jr. has been a big surprise for folks

that he, that, you know, he continues to get projected very highly.

And I like the top end stuff like that,

but I also like finding guys in the middle or back in that the projections really like and

Determining you know do I buy that and I want to jump in too or is it something I'm like whoa that's a little high where's that coming from

of course I also like to challenge myself or you know look up my you know to see if my reasoning was right on somebody if I see somebody that I don't

agree with I'm like hmm why is this guy so high am I wrong or vice versa why

did he get such a crappy projection and my way off on him and so

without further ado let's just go ahead and dive in I think I've got four hitters and

four pitchers I might do another solo for the BatX projections which just came out and you know if you go on a player page you can see how they differ from Steamer. The Baddex by Derek Cardi, you know the two systems

take into account different things, they have different weightings. They're not always massively different on players but

they will certainly have their differences. This first guy I'm going to talk

about they're pretty aligned but then there's another guy that we're going to get to in a little

bit where they've got a little bit of, you know, diversion where the bad X comes out a bit higher.
