May 15th. I'm your host Paul Sore and I am flying solo today and I'm talking

pitching which is what I love to do. This is just going to be kind of a general show on

pitching. What I think I'm going to do is kind of go through the teams,

team by team here and kind of discuss the state of their rotation.

Obviously some teams are going to get more time than others, you know, Dodgers obviously could spend a few minutes on.

Baltimore it's probably going to be a quick hitter. Sorry Baltimore fans but you know how

much time do I really have to spend on David Hess or somebody named Jay Rogers that you have slotted in here?

Who even is that? Josh Rogers. Don't know. Fake Player doesn't exist. Not allowed to use fake players.

You cannot just create players

and then will be the show and put them on your team Baltimore and say that they're in

in the game now. Like that's just not how it works. But let's start at the top with Arizona. They've been off to a pretty solid start. I think they're like 23 and 20.

So far this year the offense has been pretty sharp, but the pitching has been a key component to the success and kind of has them right in the mix of things at least in a wild card scenario there right now.

Obviously you're not getting too hung up on division in wild card right now on May 15th, but the Dodgers have a pretty healthy

weed and we all expect them to maintain it.

So the diamondbacks and Padres and Rockies are kind of fighting it out.

They've got four-fifths of their rotation in

Arizona that's pretty good. Zach Godley is a non-factor. He should not be

considered in any format right now. I don't even think he's in the

rotation of it. I do see he is tentatively penciled in for Saturday.

Why aren't they given John DuPontier some reps? I love that guy dude. Watching him pitch is so fun. I'm not sure if he's back up on the roster now. He's been back in forth
