Good time to be a sports fan. I'm really, honestly, I know it's out of topic, but I've been really enjoying the World Cup. world cup's been awesome it's great i love it

justin how are you doing how was camping uh camping was nice it was too short like i of course

like we you had to come back too for a minute didn't you oh yeah yeah yeah i had to come back and get

something and i had to come back again and then write articles um because i had a deadline do so like

i i had to come back twice but yeah no like we left friday and then had to come back sunday which

really means you get one day of camping right right you get the like one full day there and you're like

damn uh well as joe mentioned it is a great time to be a sports fan, not just our beloved baseball,

but so much going on. Obviously, the two winter sports finals just happened. Both were great.

The Stanley Cup and the NBA Finals were brilliant. But now we have the World Cup with baseball. That's

been excellent. If you're an NBA head, you had the draft last night, which was cool.

Adamas just hit his 14th homer to put the Giants up 1-0. But today we're going to talk about some struggling hitters.

And I got a group of June swooners here. Now, they've come in a bunch of different forms here because

some of them are full season swooners, if we're being honest. I'm just using the June swoon as a way to jump in and talk about them. Others were guys coming from a large perch that now they've hit a June swoon, and I want to assess, hey, is there something to be concerned about maybe in your shallower leagues where maybe an Andy Paez is now somebody that you're nervous about? I don't know. We'll see. I'm going to figure that out with y'all. But let's go ahead and get into it. I am just going by WRC plus as our jump off, and then we'll talk about their fantasy output or lack thereof, as it were, for these guys going in. Let's start with Jaron Duran, y'all. He has a 7 WRC plus in June.

That's right, a 7.

I didn't break up, I didn't drop the call, seven.

There are no other digits there.

38% K rate, never much of a walks guy down to 4% here this month.

And unlike some of these other guys here that maybe give you a little fantasy sprinkle to cover it, maybe five stolen bases here, three, four homers here, it's two homers, one steal this month to cover it,

which is to say he's not covering it.

And Duran is one of those guys that is just furthering his suckiness here in June, Justin.

He's been bad all year with a 67 WRC plus,

but prior to June, he was covering it a little bit.
