Dude, I went back and looked at this this morning. April 26, 2012 was the first time you and I got

together and started recording this podcast at baseball prospectus.

That is insane. How long it is we were talking about your children who are turning 21 and

going to college respectively, known them since they were babies. It is crazy how time passes.

It's almost like it's almost like it never stops. It is bonkerskers uh how old we are but you know what these old

men still got it and we're here and talk some two step pitchers justin is headed on vacation for camping

he said hey you guys mind if you just go you too i need to get some more sleep which we're unsurprised

that the night before a camping trip he went to bed entirely too late so of course no doubt we let him

off the hook

and said, go ahead, get some rest, have a great weekend. Just Jason and I got it. So as you've probably heard, I know you listen to the episodes quite frequently, which I appreciate. With a two-star episode, we got the auto-starts, but you're free to question those. And I know you might have a couple guys that, hey, I want to make sure that we want to auto start them. Then we'll get

into the guys that we go through individually. And then we grouped the rest, which is a collection of guys that I kind of arbitrarily decide, don't really need a deep dive. And then again, you'll have the choice to say, wait a minute, I kind of like this guy. Or no, that is a group of desperation plays.

Don't start them.

We do have a deep board this week, ranging from the studs all the way to the duds. Here's who I've gotten the auto start. Hunter Brown back, watched him cut up my tigers. I feel like he's automatically back in the lineup for sure. Drew Rasmussen, Best Picture in the Universe. I'm such a huge fan of his. Gavin Williams, Hesos Lizardo, Shane McLeanahan, George Kirby,

from her Valdez, Nolan McLean, Ryan Weathers, and Sunny Gray. I feel like when they've got a two-step across the board using them, any of those kind of, you know, raise the question mark for you, though, like, are we sure we're doing that. So I would add that Brown versus Valdez matchup was really nice. And somebody who bench Valdez in a league where I had like I really wanted to get another matchup in the lineup. And that's the one I chose like other. But one thing like McClanahan, if you're worried about his last start, it was the Dodgers. And watching it, I was telling Paul this off air, you know,

the Dodgers just don't chase. They're such a disciplined lineup. And so McClanahan had five walks.

It was the first time he had walked even more than two batters since his third start of the

season. So he had been dealing. And then he had three or four strikeouts overturned by

ABS. So like this was a 2025 start, he's probably going six with one run.

That is crazy, how pivotal that is.
