| 1:13.5 | And by coincidence, I was thinking, if I had to sum up what I believe in a sentence as they were, I would say that I believe in truth. |
| 1:23.2 | And just as I was thinking that this week's essayist opened up by saying I believe in truth and the pursuit of truth, which I thought was not only coincidental but perfect. |
| 1:37.6 | The essay has turned out to be Errol Morris. You all remember who this is? |

| 1:46.2 | Errol Morris is the writer and director of the movie The Thin Blue Line. |

| 1:55.5 | What followed was actually quite a good essay on the nature of truth, the fact that the truth does. |

| 2:15.6 | So he essentially re-investigated the case, investigated the evidence that the police used and the attorneys used to convict him. |
