1:04.0	glad today to be joined by Carolina Hurd. Carolina is with the Institute for the Study of War, which

1:12.9	General Jack Keene, who is the head of the Institute.
1:17.6	So Carolina is part of the Institute for the Study of War.
1:20.8	She's the Russian deputy team lead and analyst.
1:24.3	She's also the Evans Hansen Fellow there. And she's here to discuss the larger picture,
1:30.5	but primarily the piece that she wrote recently, which is entitled, Chillingly, Putin is stealing
1:36.8	Ukrainian children. So, Carolina, welcome. Thank you for being here. Thank you so much for having me,

1:45.1	just giving people a sense of the person that I'm speaking with. So tell us a little bit about you,
1:50.7	about your background, maybe where you grew up, and how you came to have this position at the
1:55.8	Institute for the study of war now. Yes. So I have been with ISW for over three years now. I started actually right
2:05.4	out of college in January of 2022 and spent the first few weeks of my job watching the Russian
2:12.1	buildup around Ukraine and then eventually the full-scale invasion in February of 2022.
